David Bergholz

b. 1938 American

Fine art photographer David Bergholz uses Polaroid and digital
cameras often arranging his images in complex collages.

His Polaroid collages were exhibited at the Cleveland Botanical
Garden in 2004 in a show titled, "In and Around Our Home."

His Polaroid and digital collages have been shown in the NEO+1
exhibit at the Murray Hill Galleries LLC in 2005 and in 2006 at the
Heights Arts Gallery and the Firelands Association for the Visual
Arts (FAVA) in Oberlin Ohio.

Mr. Bergholz's conceptual installation piece, "The Archeology of
Philanthropy," appeared at SPACES in Cleveland in 2003 and at
the Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh in 2004.

Mr. Bergholz retired several years ago having served as the
executive director of the George Gund Foundation in Cleveland
Ohio for 14 years.

His work is represented by Bonfoey Gallery. He has three grown sons and is married to writer Eleanor Mallet.
